Joe Randeen :: Owner, Lead Designer

Since he purchased his first Mac, back in 1991, Joe has been actively involved with graphic design and music. He started designing flyers, newsletters and print ads for local businesses in the Southern California area.

During the mid-nineties, Joe was hired as the assistant to the Conference Director for Vineyard Music Group, a small but rapidly growing record label. Within three months he was promoted to Conference Director during which time the conference/event department grew from 2 to over 12 conference per year. His responsibilities included design of all conference materials, advertisement and logistical ascepts of putting together large events all over the world, including South Africa, South Korea and Canada.

After 2 years running the conference Joe took over the studio department which was painfully behind in their release schedule. Within 7 months VMG was not only on schedule but ahead of schedule.

During this time VMG signed a distribution deal with EMI and upped their release schedule from 3 to 16 releases per calendar year. "This was a crazy time during our history but we got the work done." It was during this era that Joe was awarded both a Double-Gold and a Platinum Record Award (RIAA).

After 7 years with Vineyard Music Joe founded 3 Penguins Design. Today, his passion for design flows over to many areas of media: video, print, digital, motion.

He takes pride in knowing how to bridge the gap between art and business, creativity and marketing, left brain and right brain.
He earn a Bachelor of Science in Business & Administration and a Masters in Business Administration for the University of Redlands, both with an emphasis in Marketing.
